My passion for Aromatics and teaching started as a young girl. My grandfather would create cough syrups, tummy, ear remedies and more. I would then gather my friends for a class on what Grandfather had taught me earlier.

Before my Aromatic journey continued, I became a mother of 3 great humans, I worked as a Personal Trainer, moved into NC Public Health as a Lactation Educator & Counselor.

​

A local Herbalist was teaching a 3-year apprenticeship, so I happily joined the Daughters of the Earth Herbalism Program by Arlene Bailey.

​

I then was introduced to Cynthia J. Loving and my passion for Aromatics once again blossomed.

​

LovingScents Aromatherapy & Cynthia gave me all of my foundational Education and from there the learning has not stopped.

​

During my 10+ years I continued learning and now have about 700 hours of Clinical training in Aromatherapy & Herbalism, including Aromatic Medicine Practitioner.

​

When Cynthia retired in 2018 we both wanted this work to continue.

In July 2018 Botanically Rooted was born. Although this business is now gone, the vision of my Aromatic dreams is becoming clear.
